Let's Build A Windturbine!

Monday...We started our wind turbine. My partner and I started our blade design. We decided to use cardboard as our blade's material. Tuesday... My partner and I started to draw our blades on our journal. Our design was a rectangle sideways, but when we tested it did not work at all!!!! So it was back to the drawing board! Wednesday... We made a better design still using cardboard. It was a rectangle that was a little bit slanted to catch the wind. We tested the blades, and they WORKED! It caught a lot of air, but it didn't generate much electricity, so we made a second pair.

I saw the video of you guys trying out your turbine! Maybe you can make it move to catch the wind, like those spinning wind catcher things people put in their yards or gardens. Can't wait to see what you'll do next!
