Lets Build A Boat!

We are going to make a boat! Our school is entering a boat making challenge. You can only use duct tape and cardboard! You also have to make your boat look like the USS Tulsa ship! My group and I are starting off with making oars. We are going to use thick cardboard rolls for the handle of the oar; we are going to use 2 layers of thick cardboard for the blade (end of oar) and a few layers of duct tape so it does not get wet. When we start our boat, we are going to use 3/2 layers of cardboard and a few layers of duct tape to it does not get wet and sink. My group and I are very excited to make the boat! When we are done with our boat and oars, we are going to race against other boats in a huge pool! I can't wait! Here is the boat racing link: http://tulsastem.org/cardboard-regatta/

Yea. I was the one in the boat so I could not take any pictures. :(
